Detail of face...

Poor guy looks a little frightened....eh? There's nothing to be afraid of...we're only mere humans taking a small peek at his domain.

Second image taken of "Yogi" by SMS. Different time of day...different method of assembling the image (note merge line through the center of the rock)...different result in enhancement.

A face could be found on the whole side of the rock if one looks closely.

Another interesting aspect of Yogi is in the upper left corner of the rock.
Here we find distinct angular shapes, something only found in crystaline rock formations, or non-natural carvings.

Outline

Face or no face, design or no design, "Yogi" is a very interesting rock! I hope the rover can traverse the rocky terrain to send back clearer and more colorful images of this impressive Martian inhabitant.
