Dear Sir,

I wondered if you may want to see what I've come up with while looking at the recent Mars images from the Sagan Memorial Station. It seems there is a distinct feature on the large boulder to the left of the rover.

I know I won't be the only person to notice this artifact, perhaps your image analysis team has already detected it, but I believe it is important for you to know it's potential...especially within the ranks of those researching the possibilty of ancient civilizations on the red planet.

Would it be possible for the rover to take a closer image of the artifact? It would be interesting to see if it was the result of a small meteor impact.

Respectfully,

Bryan Butcher
